This policy statement was moved from the code to the preamble in the version that was passed: “It is the policy of the State of Georgia to increase economic opportunities for all of its citizens by promoting competition and thereby encouraging innovation and job growth. - SB 389 – Among other reforms, would establish a short-term cash diversion option in Georgia’s Temporary Assistance for Needy Families program.
