May 23, 2019 @ 11:30 am - 1:15 pm

Atlanta — Can you say that? Yes, you can, according to David French, Senior Fellow at the National Review Institute!

Join the Georgia Public Policy Foundation and the National Review Institute on Thursday, May 23, at the Georgian Club for “You Can Say That: How Courage can Defeat Political Correctness,” a lively noon Policy Briefing Luncheon featuring French.

French, an attorney (concentrating his practice in constitutional law and the law of armed conflict) and a veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom, is the author or co-author of several books including, most recently, the No. 1 New York Times bestselling “Rise of ISIS: A Threat We Can’t Ignore.”

A graduate of Harvard Law School, the past president of the Foundation for Individual Rights in Education (FIRE), and a former lecturer at Cornell Law School, he has served as a senior counsel for the American Center for Law and Justice and the Alliance Defending Freedom.

French is a former major in the U.S. Army Reserve (IRR). In 2007, he deployed to Iraq, serving in Diyala Province as Squadron Judge Advocate for the 2nd Squadron, 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment, where he was awarded the Bronze Star. He lives and works in Franklin, Tenn., with his wife, Nancy (who is also a New York Times bestselling author), and three children.

This event is open to the public and is $35 to attend. Register at Eventbrite by Tuesday, May 21, or make your check out to Georgia Public Policy Foundation (memo: David French) and mail to Georgia Public Policy Foundation, 3200 Cobb Galleria Parkway, Suite 214, Atlanta GA 30339.
