Foundation’s March 5 Event Celebrates 23 Years in Georgia
Atlanta – The Georgia Public Policy Foundation cordially invites you to attend the 2014 Annual Reception and Dinner, which begins at 6:30 p.m. on March 5, 2014, at the Galleria Centre in Cobb County.
The Annual Reception and Dinner, which this year celebrates 23 years since the Foundation was established in Georgia, is our one fund-raising event each year. This is your opportunity to:
- Support the state’s only free-market public policy research organization
- Hear from prominent Georgians who seized opportunity and achieved the American Dream
- Learn how to expand the message of free markets, limited government and individual responsibility.
The keynote speaker is Daniel Garza, executive director of the LIBRE Initiative, who has earned a reputation as an advocate on behalf of Hispanics and Latinos for sound, market-based public policy.
The need for Garza’s message is encapsulated in his own life story, a tale of triumph through toil that he shares in a poignant, three-minute video.
Garza has served in elected office as a city councilman and was a George W. Bush White House staff member before becoming president of Televisa’s Hispanic Poder Group, where he oversaw editorial, commercial and promotion of publications. Garza also worked as co-producer and host of Univision Network’s “Agenda Washington,” a weekly Spanish-language news talk show.
He has been featured in Fox News Latino’s, “Ten Young Latinos in Politics to Watch in 2013,” and Polymic’s list of, “10 Political Rising Stars you Should Know About in 2013.”
Tickets to the event are $125 per person; tables and sponsorships are available. Find out more here.
