Investigative Journalist
Chris Butler is an investigative journalist with the Georgia Public Policy Foundation.
Chris has 20 years of professional journalism experience and has won awards in writing and photography from the Louisiana Press Association and the Mississippi/Louisiana Associated Press.
Chris has covered the legal system, K-12 public schools, local and state politics, business news, a variety of human interest stories, and also the immediate aftermaths of major hurricanes during his stint as a reporter in South Florida.
FOX News, The Drudge Report, Rush Limbaugh, National Review, Human Events, Reason, and even columnist Dave Barry, among many other national outlets, have either published or cited his work.
Chris has a bachelor’s degree in political science from Louisiana Tech University and a master’s degree in communications from the University of Louisiana at Monroe.
